Well, at Fulgorey's request I decided to photo-manip a Leeran. And....it still doesn't look so great, but it's growing on me.

Obscure Animorph-series aliens ftw!

I mean, seriously. Normal animorphs fans draw andalites and hork-bajir. And I.....I drew and photo-manipped......a Leeran. *headscratch* Well, at least it looks better than my drawing attempt

I like the upper half of the body and the background...especially like the way the eyeball fits in so well, and the layering textures. But the legs look so obviously photoshopped on. I just couldn't make them look comfortable at all. I think Chris is right--these things are just a nightmare to conceptualize.

On the bright side, K.A. Applegate made things easy for me by comparing all of the aliens to compilations of various animals, so they're kind of screaming to be manipped.
