Awhile back,
 did a great series of linearts for me to color, because she draws my characters BEAUTIFULLY and I absolutely adore coloring her work. Anyway, this is the first of the bunch that I've gotten around to coloring. This is Wraithe, drawn absolutely beautifully by Chibs; I tried to maintain some of the nice fluidity of the lineart while cleaning it up a little bit. The background was an afterthought and I'm not sure it really helps; I'm saving a background-less version as well. But I felt I should put up some sort of background, and this occurred to me. Wraithe's song is TOTALLY "Darkside of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. Nobody does crazy quite like Pink Floyd, and it occurred to me while I was doing this that it's PERFECT for her because she is, in fact, going to the darkside of the moon when she ends up being a member of the LBM. I love Wraithe in all of her craziness, and in her weird, unattractive yet strangely appealing design. And I LOVE Badgercall for the lineart. *huggles* |
